Our velvety formula is crafted from 100% grass-fed beef tallow—rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K plus essential fatty acids—to help fortify the skin’s moisture barrier and restore softness. Infused with real vanilla bean pods for a warm, comforting aroma, it leaves you feeling smooth, radiant, and beautifully scented.

*If your jar arrives warm or hot from transit, cool it in the fridge for 30 min then allow it to sit at room temperature overnight! Our product is 100% natural, so softening during transit is expected!

We strive to have the highest quality form of every raw ingredient that goes into each jar. 

Ingredients: grass-fed and grass-finished beef tallow, organic jojoba oil, organic vanilla bean, vitamin E (non-GMO)

Tallow: Our 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef tallow is sourced from small family farms in the USA that use regenerative and sustainable farming practices. The beef suet (kidney fat) is dry rendered and double filtered for maximum quality and purity. 

Jojoba Oil: Our Organic Golden Jojoba Oil is cold-pressed from USDA Certified Organic jojoba seeds and is naturally rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E.

Vanilla Beans: Our Grade A, USDA Certified Organic Vanilla Bean Pods are sourced from ethically managed farms and hand-selected for exceptional quality. Because we use the entire bean pod, not extracts or oils, you may see small vanilla bean flecks in your body butter. 

Vitamin E: Our Vitamin E is naturally sourced and non-GMO. It is a natural antioxidant and a small amount is used to extend shelf life.

Directions: Use the spatula to scoop a quarter sized amount and apply all over body. Start with a small amount and use more, as needed. 

Storage: Store in a cool dry place. This product contains only natural ingredients, and is thus an ambient texture. Be sure to not leave it in a hot and humid place for an extended period of time. 

Packaging: Our No. 1 Vanilla Tallow Body Butter is packaged in a dark, frosted glass jar to prevent oxidation with an embossed metal lid. Each jar comes with a custom engraved stainless steel spatula for easy application. 

Keep out of reach of children.

How do I store my jar?

Is your beef tallow grass fed?

Yes, our beef tallow is rendered from beef suet from grass fed, grass finished cows in the USA that are raised with regenerative and sustainable farming practices.

Is your tallow dry or wet rendered?

Our tallow is dry rendered and double filtered for maximum quality and purity.

What does it smell like?

No. 1 Vanilla Tallow Body Butter has a soft, vanilla scent. It is scented with whole vanilla bean pods. The tallow is dry rendered and double filtered, there is no beefy scent.

What does it feel like?

The best comparison for the texture is soft butter. Keep in mind it is an ambient texture, so it will be softer when stored in a warmer area.

Is it greasy?

Beef tallow mimics the natural moisture barrier of your skin and thus absorbs quite well. If you use a small amount, it will fully absorb, but you can also use more to attain a glaze on your skin. I prefer a thick layer, but it's entirely up to what you like!

*Note that if you use a lot on your arms, you may see excess in your elbow crease - this is entirely normal and you can easily rub the excess into your skin.

Can I use this on my face?

While formulated for your body, you can absolutely use the No. 1 Vanilla Tallow Lotion on your face. Keep in mind that beef tallow has the fatty acid complex to be comedogenic, so if you are acne prone, I recommend only applying to your body. If you are not acne prone, consider yourself incredibly blessed and feel free to apply it all over.

How long does it last?

Beef tallow is incredibly self-preserving and your jar lasts up to 6 months, following suggested storage. Be sure to not introduce water/moisture into your jar.
